Another Theist Atrocity

I join those who mourn the deaths of the innocent at the hands of Islamic terrorists in Paris yesterday. May the perpetrators and their supporters be brought to justice with punishment befitting these heinous acts. A culture that forcibly demands submission to its mythical deity is not compatible with our culture that pursues liberty, equity and self-determination.

From my 9/11 meditation earlier this year:

it is time that our passions are roused in opposition to those who kill and destroy for their gods, for such foul thinking and its consequent behavior must come to an end, lest the possibilities for a rational and equitable global society be forever lost.
