Metal Breakfast Radio – Episode 42.6 “Well, maybe he is…” We (and by that we mean Dave) finally got a show edited. And by that we mean half a show. Confused? Then we’ll explain. First half of this episode features the unusual suspects of Bob, Kent and Dave in all their somewhat drunken glory, giving it large with a selection of tracks delivered to the door from multiple nefarious sources. You may hear references to episodes that have yet to air, but that’s just the beer talking. We never got to finish that particular episode as the beer talked way […]
Hellfrost And Fire—a death metal project featuring: Warlock David Ingram (ex-Benediction/Bolt Thrower/Hail Of Bullets/Just Before Dawn, Down Among The Dead Men, Echelon, Ursinne, Troikadon.) Rick DeMusis (Gath.) Travis Ruvo (Cropsy Maniac, Troikadon, Echelon.) And featuring Scott Fairfax (Memoriam, As The World Dies) on lead guitar. “These guys sound like a mix of Winter, Celtic Frost and Hellhammer.” —Rogga Johansson The album is almost complete, and once mixed we will be looking for a label to call home. More details available soon. Demo track, “Legion Of Hellfrost And Fire” available to stream. Hellfrost And Fire Facebook page.
The EP is considered a solo project of Wesley Beernaert in deep collaboration with Mantorok as a session guitarist. Āter: Vullighied on Bandcamp Mantorok worked with Wesley as a session guitar member and wrote most of the riffs while I filled in and did the lyrical concept. It’s completely sung in a almost 1000 year old ancient flemmish dialect that still exists to this day, but is endangered. Therefore it is very hard to accurately translate without loosing the beauty of the words, but it deals with the abuse of the elite against the common folk and but beneath you […]
“All around my…” Dave turns 50! Usually on these celebratory occasions — or when he does a show alone, as he is this time — then it’s an indulgent episode. But NO, for this one Dave gives in to indulgence and returns the favour to boss of Transcending Obscurity Records by promoting the label sampler for 2019. Though there’s a minor indulgence toward the end; during the show Dave spins a demo version of a track from triple-fronted death metal monsters TROIKADON. This song only features Kam Lee on vocals (Karl and Dave have yet to record their parts) so […]
METAL BREAKFAST RADIO – EPISODE 41.6 (Death/Heavy Metal Podcast) “So get on your feet, bubs!” Yes, it’s another Eleventh Hour episode with Dave alone, but trying to get all three MBR hosts together in the same room at the same time has been proving difficult these last few weeks, especially since Dave has been off gigging with Just Before Dawn. New content with a full line-up will arrive soon! In the meantime, here’s a show featuring such bands as Septic Flesh, Memoriam, Wombbath, The Grotesquery, and the aforementioned Just Before Dawn…to name but a few! And let’s not forget Big […]
THE METAL GROTTO EPISODE 53: EXHUMING THE CRYPTS (A TRIBUTE TO KILLJOY OF NECROPHAGIA) This show was inspired by the sudden and unfortunate passing of Killjoy of Necrophagia. This week, DJ Hell On Wheels pays tribute to Killjoy by exhuming festering chunks of his work, including side projects, and a track or two from the rare “Compelled By Fear” solo record. GORE FOREVER! HAIL KILLJOY! Download Episode 53 Only on Radio Free Satan!

Metal Breakfast Radio – Episode 41.1“…and that’s how the drowning Witch’s howl went…” Another 11th hour recording due to multiple factors, as explained on the show. Dave alone brings some new bands to the show, then rips right into the Transcending Obscurity Label Sampler for 2018, and what a scorcher it is too! There’s the usual nepotism, some classic tracks, and another bloody brilliant review by Big Mark Eve in his “Rabbiting Review” section. This show runs almost 30 minutes over, so revel in the extra extravagance. New content with the full MBR-monty is on its way! Download Episode 41.1
Metal Breakfast Radio #40.9 In an almost eleventh hour situation, Dave pulls together a show on his own this week. Filled with classic tracks from days gone by – and the odd newbie for continuity – he explains the reasons for the lack of Bob and Kent. Fear not! Full shows are on their way. Until then have this lovely slice of nostalgia AND check out the new segment from Biggus Markus, AKA Dave’s great mate Mark, and his review of a particular new release of his choice. It’s enough to make you chew your own foot off, especially if […]
