The Devils Reign II: Psychedelic Blasphemy
Submission Guidelines
HOWL Books announces submission guidelines for The Devils Reign II: Psychedelic Blasphemy, curated by Magus Peter H. Gilmore, High Priest of the Church of Satan.
This limited edition hardcover book will feature 90 to 120 artists, with a focus on tattoo artists and illustrators. The Devils Reign II will also feature an expanded page count of 120 to 180 pages. A book release party and opening art show will be set for the end of 2016 at HOWL Gallery/Tattoo, Fort Myers, Florida. Additionally, a year-long touring exhibition in 2017 will feature 20 to 30 selected pieces from the book. A list of tour venues will be released on www.howlbooks.net in the fall of 2016.
Interested artists are encouraged to submit up to 5 pieces of original artwork that fits within the guidelines of the show’s theme. Magus Peter H. Gilmore has included a curator’s note with the guidelines to help artists crystallize their own blasphemous visions. All types of work and sizes will be accepted for publication in the art book, including illustrations, paintings, tattoo flash, sculpture and photography. The touring exhibition in 2017 will be limited to wall hangings pieces no larger than 16×24 inches.
