Marquis is a self-taught independent writer with seven published titles to date. He deals specifically in dark material of the non-fiction variety. His titles range from his involvement in the underground hardcore punk and extreme metal scenes, dark tourism, sinister cults, horror movies, and his personal acquaintance with infamous serial killer Richard Ramirez, also known as the Night Stalker. He has been interviewed in various forms of the international media discussing the occult, black arts, and dark locations. He is also an accomplished traveler, avid collector, and horror fanatic.
