Today in the USA we celebrate the founding of our secular republic. It is an ongoing experiment in providing a societal framework that allows individuals to determine their own destiny via a social contract that offers equity under the law and, to a certain degree, promotes meritocracy while eschewing the mob rule of democracy.
There are always those who would seek to sully this concept through the legislation of theist principles, so vigilance is required of our citizenry if we wish to preserve and continually enhance individual liberty. We Satanists value freedom and justice, and so we are proud to salute these bedrock rational principles and those brave and wise people who embraced them to establish this nation.
