Yet another solstice has come to mark the seasonal change, and for this one far too many folk around the planet felt that this was to be the last, according to certain interpretations of a Mayan calendar. Theistic madness, whatever its source, should be mocked by all sensible people, so let us raise a mighty jeering at those fools who thought the curtain was coming down on our wonderful world this day.
